EMPLOYMENT

The National Headquarters web site contains much useful information about the professional treatment of organists. Please visit our site and theirs often for the latest information from employment guidelines to salary suggestions and jobs available nationwide. The AGO advocates fair and just employment, treatment, and compensation. With this fair treatment comes the responsibility to better ourselves. Education should never be considered complete, and the AGO offers certification for various levels of competency. The process of preparation for those exams is in itself a useful exercise. For further information about educational opportunities, please contact our own board member for Education, Jan-Piet Knijff.
